Ingredients

Spritz base
  • 2 oz Aperol Use well-chilled if possible for best flavor.
  • 3 oz apple cider Chill ahead so the drink stays crisp.
  • 3 oz prosecco Chill before mixing.
  • 1 oz sparkling water Add last to preserve bubbles.
  • 1 Ice Fill the glass to keep the spritz cold.
  • 1 thin apple slice Use as garnish.
  • 1 cinnamon stick Use as garnish.

Method

Build the spritz
  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  2. Pour in Aperol and apple cider, then let it settle briefly on top of the ice.
  3. Top with prosecco and sparkling water.
  4. Stir gently once to combine so the bubbles stay lively.
  5. Garnish with the thin apple slice and cinnamon stick—serve immediately.

Notes

Pro tip: chill the apple cider and prosecco before you start so the drink stays cold without needing extra dilution. Storage: best enjoyed right after mixing; don’t refrigerate leftovers. Freezing: no. Dietary swap: use a zero-sugar sparkling water and a no-sugar-added apple cider for a lighter option if available.
